Outline of Material
The talk will cover the current understanding of the health impact of Cystic Fibrosis (CF) in the United States, the clinical characteristics of the disease and consequences of the disease for affected individuals. The rationale for the use of the intervention, rhGH as adjuvant therapy for treatment of patients with CF, is discussed. The process for developing the comparative effectiveness review along with details on strength of evidence for findings are presented. The specific questions that the review sought to answer and the results for each of these questions are discussed in detail.
