Cleo Alford, M.P.S., M.Sc.

Cleo Alford is the first ORISE Research & Evaluation Fellow with the Evidence-based Practice Center Division. Her work focuses on quality improvement and evaluation of key program processes and products.

Cleo holds a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from Emory University. She then completed a master of professional studies degree in clinical psychological science from the University of Maryland, College Park, while working to implement a cognitive improvement intervention in a medically underserved area of Baltimore, MD. Prior to joining the EPC Division, she graduated with a master of science degree in Global Mental Health from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and King’s College London. After the ORISE fellowship, she hopes to pursue a career related to the program evaluation of mental health interventions.
