Does The use of SCD and ted hose simultaneously decrease or eliminate the effectiveness of the other?

Briefly describe a specific question, or set of related questions, about a health care test or treatment that this program should consider.

Does The use of SCD and ted hose simultaneously decrease or eliminate the effectiveness of the other?

Describe why this topic is important.

It is important in the prevention of DVT formation because both methods are often ordered by physicians. Nursing as a whole as well as some physicians have questioned the effectiveness of using SCD's and TED hose at the same time.

How will an answer to your research question be used or help inform decisions for you or your group?

It will give evidence in which we could base our practice on.
