WHY IS IT IMPORTANT? Both maternal and neonatal mortality are on the rising trend which calls for quick and urgent respond.WHO and USAID have made efforts by training the secretariat of Western HIV/AIDS Network through GFMER-Geneva Foundation for Medical Education and Research covering Modules in SRHR Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights.Kindly see participant No.228 of 2012.WHO and WRA-White Ribbon Alliance have played great role in the course.

How will an answer to your research question be used or help inform decisions for you or your group?

IMPACT: Saving lives of Pregnant Mothers and their children is crucial. Many of the deaths are because of ignorance and lack of knowledge of what pregnant mothers must observe and take seriously to save their lives and lives of their newborns.Jhipiego and Western HIV/AIDS Network working hand in hand with the MOH-Medical Officer of Health Western Kenya with collaboration of UNICEF and other partners in this area Western HIV/AIDS Network hopes to make great impact to the lives of mothers and their children who will be great beneficiaries of this virtual program
