- Describe why this topic is important.
This topic is important because of the longterm risks PCOS poses to otherwise healthy women. There are a variety of ways to manage PCOS that need to be considered in a systematic review to be able to provide clinicians with evidencebased options for treatment.
- How will an answer to your research question be used or help inform decisions for you or your group?
Clinicians will be more equipped to make appropriate treatment decisions for women with PCOS based on the needs of the individual patient resources and limitations unique to the institution or type of practice. Recommendations based on the systematic review will be used by clinicians to optimize treatment and improve outcomes for these patients.
