Meghan Wagner, Pharm.D., M.B.A.

Meghan Wagner, Pharm.D., M.B.A.

Meghan Wagner is a pharmacist and Health Scientist Administrator who serves as a Project Officer for evidence reviews conducted under the Evidence-based Practice Center master contract. In this capacity, she works with contractors to produce systematic reviews and with partners who use AHRQ products to develop practice guidelines and inform research agendas and coverage decisions.

Dr. Wagner received her doctor of pharmacy degree from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and holds a master’s degree in business administration with a focus in health care administration from Johns Hopkins University. She completed a postgraduate residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital focusing on health system pharmacy administration. Prior to joining AHRQ, Dr. Wagner practiced in hospitals and health systems. Serving in a variety of leadership positions, she provided clinical care to patients, led medication-use policy initiatives, and oversaw oncology and clinical research pharmacy operations in adult and pediatric settings.
