Data from platforms that enable feedback from providers and patients help us identify need for clinic visits and level of care interventions for PwD and PwAD.
Target Date.
2020-01-31
Describe what you are doing currently and what you are hoping will change because of a new evidence report.
EnvoyatHome is independently collecting data to improve patient outcomes and reduce caregiver stress. EnvoyatHome hopes to offer a caregiver technology toolkit to enhance routines (i.e. AOL’s, eating, and sleep cycles), detect treatment non-compliance, and patient safety issues. There’s a gap in collecting data to identify and learn about the symptoms, stages, and early signs of dementia.
How will you or your group use the information from a new evidence report?
Our research group located in the UPenn ICorps Program need metric-based studies to understand the feasibility of large scale deployment of intelligent monitoring and assessment of seniors’ in-home activities in reducing medical costs for PwD, PwAD, and their caregivers.
How would you or your group plan to disseminate information from the report? Who would you plan to disseminate it to?
The envoyatHome team will develop a clear and validated vision for a Minimum Viable Product that can be integrated into the EHR and distributed to healthcare systems nationwide.
Do you know of organizations that could use an evidence report to change clinical practice? Are you a part of, or have you been in contact with, any organizations that might implement the research findings of an evidence report?
EvoyatHome has completed the UPenn ICorps Program and applied for the UPenn Digital Health Incubator.
