Describe your topic.: How are the relationships between nurse age and medication error rate ?Is the medication error rate increase with nurses that they have 45years or more ??

Describe why this topic is important.: This topic is very important because we based on nursing experiences at healthcare worker but with time when the nurse become older maybe the the error rate increase

Tell us why you are suggesting this topic.: I have experience as a nursing director for a private hospital for 5 years and I recongnised that the error rate is more from the older nursing team (more than 10 years experience ) than the younger( more than 2years ) and every time I inverstigate for medication error , the person involved was an nurse with high experience skills (more than 10 years ) , So I asked myself : I am totally confident for this person skills so why he / she makes mistakes ? Is it a reason related to age ? Or to long work period (years )
