As a surgeon I would like to know why there is no technique enabling me to visualize the bile duct, my vessel repair, or specifically "SEE" cancer laden lymph nodes and tumor margins instantly, without x-ray exposure, while I am operating?
The answer is Bioluminescent Imaging techniques.

- What anatomy can be visualized in detail using bioluminescent techniques vs iodine contract agents. What is the Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, Excretion of Coelenterazine in mammals. What is the potential for carcinogenisis of coelentrazine.
