Atrial Fibrillation Ablation

Overuse of atrial fibrillation ablation in individuals who do not have CHFrEF with EF<35%

2. Why are you struggling with this issue?

The indication is vague (failure of symptom control on medical therapy) and there is wide variation in use with significant overutilization in patients who have not failed medical therapy.

3. What do you want to see changed? How will you know that your issue is improving or has been addressed?

Cost effectiveness of atrial fibrillation in the absence of CHFrEF.
