E-Health and Patient Trust

1. What is the decision or change (e.g., clinical topic, practice guideline, system design, delivery of care) you are facing or struggling with where a summary of the evidence would be helpful?

Measuring chilling effect of ehealth on patient trust?

2. Why are you struggling with this issue?

When ehealth was first introduced, there were studies showing percentages of the patient population who said they did not have trust in it and would avoid its use. What has been the effect of years of increasing usage of ehealth, often now happening without patient consent? How much has that dented patient trust?

3. What do you want to see changed? How will you know that your issue is improving or has been addressed?

New figures on trust levels and a harm/benefit analysis.

4. When do you need the evidence report?

Sat, 12/31/2022

5. What will you do with the evidence report?

N/A
