Lymphedema after Breast Cancer Surgery

Lymphedema After Breast Cancer Surgery

1. What is the decision or change you are facing or struggling with where a summary of the evidence would be helpful?

Millions of us in usa are interested in policies that will help the surgeon caused lymphedema when breast mastectomy is done on a patient. the lymphedema is mentally, financially and physically appalling for the patient so injured. millions of women have this issue. the patient can do nothing to stop it. it needs to stop being caused in breast cancer surgery. it is painful. it keeps you awake at night. you go in and hope to stop cancer and instead you get two plagues on your body, not one. this is physician caused. we need to stop inflicting this on patients. absolutely stop getting it in the first place. and help those who have it already. therapy does not work. compression does not work. financial outgo for therapy is very expensive. your clothes don’t fit. you have bulges that keep growing and growing and growing until it stops your heart.

2. Why are you struggling with this issue?

I am a patient whose body was formerly great and when trying to stop dying from cancer, the physician inflicted this further horrible disease on me that can kill my heart.

3. What do you want to see changed? How will you know that your issue is improving or has been addressed?

I want those who have breast cancer to not be further killed by the physician giving them lymphedema. i don’t want the swelling that is physically painful, mentally painful, and financially exhausting. insurance does not cover full cost of this therapy and the therapy is useless. absolutely useless.

4. When do you need the evidence report?

Fri, 01/01/2021

5. What will you do with the evidence report?

Information of ways of stopping this horrible infliction of medical woe on patients will be helpful for all new patients and maybe we can get help for those already suffering physically, mentally or financially

Title or short description:

stopping infliction of lymphedema on breast cancer patients

Comments or notes about this file:

those who already got it need help to help reestablish the normal operation of the body so that the lymph system continues to flow. having it stopped us means you don’t heal. and you swell up into bulk and it stops your heart from the fluid accumulation. stop new patients from having this inflicted on them. when you have a body that worked pretty well, healed well, it is awful to have this inflicted on you. you knew the cancer was present, but did not expect this further infliction of pain.
