1. What is the decision or change (e.g., clinical topic, practice guideline, system design, delivery of care) you are facing or struggling with where a summary of the evidence would be helpful?
How many years on average do graduates of medical degrees end up spending in clinical practice? What's the average societal benefit per degree? By that I mean, how many go on to have actual, productive careers as doctors, vs how many go straight from their training into the public health sector, and never spend another day working as an actual doctor? We have a shortage of medical staff at the moment, how much is that due to the freeloaders who took the place of others in highly sought-after medical degrees with a limited number of places available, only to then turn around and never actually use that degree to treat patients?
2. Why are you struggling with this issue?
We have a doctor shortage at the moment.
