Sensory Processing Disorders and Fibromyalgia

NOMINATED TOPIC | March 27, 2021

Sensory Processing Disorders and Fibromyalgia

1. What is the decision or change you are facing or struggling with where a summary of the evidence would be helpful?

I am interested in learning if there is a link between sensory processing disorders, particularly in children, and fibromyalgia in adults.

2. Why are you struggling with this issue?

I am struggling to find any information linking the two even though to me they seem to be related, possibly even the same thing just a progression from a tantrum response to a pain response.

3. What do you want to see changed? How will you know that your issue is improving or has been addressed?

I would just like more knowledge on both subjects. The more that is known, the more people can be helped.

4. When do you need the evidence report?

Friday, April 1, 2022

5. What will you do with the evidence report?

The evidence in the report will help to determine my and my kids' treatment plans, hopefully keeping them from the pain I've experienced.
