HRAs are the first step to improving population health.

Existing, good-quality systematic reviews are outdated. One was published in 2010 for the Community Preventive Services Task Force (see Soler), and it was specific to worksite settings. Another systematic review conducted by RAND (see Shekelle) was published in 2003. See below for references. Soler E, Leeks KD, Razi S, et al. A systematic review of selected interventions for worksite health promotion: the assessment of health risks with feedback. American Journal of Preventive Medicine. 2010;38(2S):237-262 Shekelle P, Tucker JS, Maglione M, Morton SC, Roth E, Chao B, et al. Health risk appraisals and Medicare. Describe what you are doing currently and what you are hoping will change because of a new evidence report.
I am the Director of Health and Research at Wellsource, a company that develops HRAs.
How will you or your group use the information from a new evidence report?
We will use this systematic review to inform the development of new HRAs, customize existing HRAs to specific subpopulations, and for promotional purposes.
How would you or your group plan to disseminate information from the report? Who would you plan to disseminate it to?
We will likely disseminate the information from the report through promotional materials to current and prospective clients; and internal meetings when developing HRAs.
Do you know of organizations that could use an evidence report to change clinical practice? Are you a part of, or have you been in contact with, any organizations that might implement the research findings of an evidence report?
Many organizations, including healthcare organizations, are exploring ways to improve population health. HRAs can help tailor interventions delivered in clinical practice.
