Updating Treatments for Fecal Incontinence IV

Updating Treatments for Fecal Incontinence IV

1. What is the decision or change you are facing or struggling with where a summary of the evidence would be helpful?

I would like to know more about the long-term effectiveness and safety of Solesta bulking agent.

2. Why are you struggling with this issue?

Additional studies have been done since AHRQ's 2016 review was released. I would like those studies to be included in the guidelines.

3. What do you want to see changed? How will you know that your issue is improving or has been addressed?

I would like all studies that have been done, including international studies, be recognized in the guidelines.

4. When do you need the evidence report?

Monday, March 1, 2021

5. What will you do with the evidence report?

The revised guideline would be used to inform third-party payers and health care providers of the benefit of Solesta to both prospective patients and healthcare institutions.
